Project Description
Since the late 1990s, we have helped prepare the State of Indiana’s Consolidated Plans, Annual Action Plans, and Analyses of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AIs). As part of these reports, we have conducted large mail and online surveys of local government officials, housing advocates and service providers; regional public forums and citizen surveys; and public hearings.
Our current working stakeholder survey is an excellent instrument that provides an efficient method of collecting time series data on housing and economic needs of rural Indiana communities. The survey instrument not only asks about needs, but also collects data on the perceived effectiveness and desired outcomes of State programs funded by HUD.

Unique aspect of study
We have prepared the State’s Consolidated Plan and annual updates, including AIs, for more than 15 years. All of the Plans we have prepared have been submitted to HUD on time and have been approved.
