Project Description
The Root team completed a regional AI for the Cities of Richmond, Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg, and the Counties of Chesterfield and Henrico. A unique aspect of this study was an evaluation of the differences in home equity between Black/African American owners and White owners due to historical, systemic discrimination. We developed a regional and jurisdiction-level fair housing action plan through virtual workshops focused on collaborative implementation.
