Project Description
This regional study involved 16 jurisdictions and public housing authorities. Area advocates supported the public input by participating in the study’s “Community Engagement in a Box” concept, which provides stakeholders with a focus group and survey kit to use with clients. We also reached residents through an extensive pop-up engagement process. Quantitative analysis was supplemented with data and maps completed by the regional planning agency (SACOG).
We continued our work in Sacramento with a Consolidated Plan, Affirmative Marketing Plans for developers, and are currently developing program manuals for staff.
Year: 2018
Unique aspect of study
The website we maintained for this study became a resource for residents to inquire about their housing options. We also generated diverse participation in the survey through the AI’s web presence.
